Terms of Service
Effective October 7, 2026 · Privacy Policy
Short version: Red Box is a game. Everything in it is virtual and worth nothing in the real world, the gambling is pretend, and you play by the rules or lose access.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Red Box is a Discord game bot made and operated by 1300 Studios ("we", "us", "our"). These terms are an agreement between you and 1300 Studios. They apply when you use Red Box in any Discord server, and when a server owner adds Red Box to a server ("you" covers both). By using Red Box you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
2. Who can play
You must meet Discord's minimum age for your country and follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Red Box includes simulated gambling and mature themes (crime, drugs, alcohol, violence). Server owners are responsible for setting a suitable age requirement for their server. Our own community server is 18+.
3. Virtual items have no real-world value
- Cash, items, boxes, metals, stats and everything else in Red Box are virtual. You get a limited, revocable right to use them inside the game. You don't own them.
- They can't be bought, sold, cashed out, or exchanged for real money, crypto, gift cards, Discord Nitro or anything of value, and we never sell them.
- Trading virtual items for anything real is against these terms.
4. Simulated gambling
Casino games in Red Box use in-game cash only. There is no real-money gambling, and nothing you win has real-world value.
5. Resets and changes to the game
Progress can be reset, including monthly season wipes and resets during testing. We may change, rebalance, add or remove features, items, prices and odds at any time.
6. Paid access
Some access (for example, adding Red Box to a server) requires payment. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments buy access to the service only, never in-game currency or items. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor under its own terms. You can get a full refund within 13 days of any payment: use /refund in Discord or contact us (section 12). A refund ends that plan right away. After 13 days, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
7. Fair play
You agree not to exploit bugs or use bots, macros, self-bots or scripts to play; use alternate accounts to gain an advantage; trade in-game items or cash for anything real; harass, threaten or abuse other players through the game; or try to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or copy the service. Found a bug? Report it instead of using it.
8. Suspension and termination
If you break these terms, we may reset or remove your progress, block you from Red Box, or remove Red Box from a server. Server owners can remove Red Box at any time. We may stop offering Red Box, or end a server's access, at any time.
9. Ownership
Red Box, including its name, artwork, code and content, belongs to 1300 Studios. Red Box is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Discord Inc.
10. No warranty
Red Box is provided "as is" and "as available". It may have bugs, lose data or go offline. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, 1300 Studios is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of virtual items or progress. Our total liability for any claim about Red Box is limited to the amount you paid us for Red Box in the 12 months before the claim (or zero if you paid nothing).
12. Contact
Questions about these terms: info@1300studios.com, or post in the support channel of the Red Box community server.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and announce bigger changes in the Red Box community server. Using Red Box after a change means you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
